A 32-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged with luring a 12-year-old child by means of the Internet in order to commit another criminal act. Deputy Police Chief Richard Collins said Monday the man was arrested and charged Friday night. "He was taken before a justice of the peace, charged, and released," Collins said. Police also conducted a search of the man's residence where they seized computer-related equipment. Collins said the period of time covered by the allegations against the accused runs from Oct. 1 to Nov. 7. The man will appear in provincial court Dec. 4. ******** Having a great talk with my son over this ... Mr. I Am Smarter Then That ... is learning quickly he isn't so much .... We learned a month ago .. a 14 year old girl he was talkign with is actually 24 .... and not in the US but in Europe .... And I pointed out .. we dont even know if all that is true ...
