A Liberal MLA has proposed a private member's bill that would change pricing for all goods on PEI. Under the proposed law, the sticker price on all goods would have to include the GST and PST. In other words, you'd see the total price on the goods you buy instead of the pretax price. I think this is a fantastic idea and it's something I've wanted to see on PEI for a few years. I'm going to e-mail my support to my MLA, the Premier, and the members of the Opposition. Do the same if you would like to see this bill passed as well! [Click Here For Full Discussion]
